About Me

I studied fine art at university and have continued to paint over the years. I have spent many years visiting the island of Jersey where I have developed a deep passion for the island and its diverse landscape and architecture. 

I spend many hours sketching and photographing on-site and complete my work either in a studio on the island or back at home in west Wales where I am lucky enough to live near the Cardigan coastline. 

The glorious light in Jersey changes the colours and structures of my surroundings and my aim is to create work that will allow the viewer to revisit their own memories of the iconic sites and views of the island. My preferred  mediums are acrylic and watercolour, often using both in the same piece of work.

I base myself in St Aubin when on the island and highly recommend the Porthole suites self-catering apartments or the Somerville Hotel where I have spent many happy visits.
